About Us

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Foundation is to provide financial support to enhance the academic curriculum at Park Village Elementary School for all of our students. Our primary objective is to provide funding for all supplemental academic programs. We also aim to provide funding for programs and events that foster community-building and encourage students to shine.

About Us

Founded in May 2004, the Park Village Foundation is a non-profit fundraising organization comprised of dedicated parent volunteers, committed to raising funds that allow our teachers and administrators to bring the best education to our students at Park Village. In addition to providing sole funding for Science, Art, Music, and Physical Education, we are also financially responsibility for assemblies, field trip transportation, additional technology, supplemental school supplies, library funding, and additional academic programs, as well as community programs, such as DADS Sponsored Events, a Family Dance, and other events for the entire school community.

We definitely try to put the FUN in fundraising! In addition to our annual Penguin Pledge Drive campaign every Fall, we also hold a Fun Run in February and an Online Auction in the Spring. Some of the events put on by the Foundation like the Talent Show and the Family Dance also contribute to the the financial goals. Throughout the year, we have our ongoing Books Fairs that earn money for our school from everyday purchases.

  • Provide our PUSD teaching staff with the tools they need to teach our children
  • Sustain our Special Area Teachers ("Specials") in Art, Music, Science, and Physical Education
  • Inspire excellence and encourage camaraderie throughout our school
  • Support our school events and programs to foster relationships with our families and community
